I choose to reread chapter 7 in They Say I Say because in this paper I want to really focus on making my argument clear and ” saying why it matters”
In this chapter it focuses on the idea of making sure that the three questions of so what? who cares? and why does this matter? are being answered. The chapter gives an example of how answer “who cares” from the science writer Denise Grady. After her example there are templates for indication who cares. Grady also gives her example on the “So What” and templates for establishing why your claim matters. Lastly she addresses the readers who already know why it matters and exercises to do.
